FAQ Sheet: What’s DPC All About?

Q: What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
A: DPC is a membership-based primary care model. Instead of billing insurance for every visit, we charge a flat, transparent membership fee that covers most of your primary care services. Because we remove the insurance middleman, we can better focus on patient care—not billing.

Q: How much does the membership cost, and what’s included?
A: Our membership tiers and pricing are clearly laid out on our membership page. Each membership includes primary care visits, preventive services, chronic disease management, telehealth, and more. Some services (like advanced imaging, specialty care, or certain medications) remain billed through external partners, but we will always inform you in advance of anything not included.

Q: Will my insurance still be useful?
A: Yes—especially for specialists, hospital care, imaging, or prescription drugs. We’ll work alongside your insurance when needed, but your DPC membership handles the core of your primary care.

Q: How is this different from standard primary care?
A: In traditional primary care, physicians are pressured by tight schedules, insurance protocols, and volume. That often means shorter visits, less continuity, and surprise costs. In our DPC model, we’re unburdened by those constraints—so you get more time, continuity, and clarity.

Q: What if I need a specialist or hospital care?
A: We coordinate referrals and collaborate with trusted specialists. Our role is your anchor throughout. We’ll guide you, assist with transitions, and advocate so your care is integrated and smooth.

Q: Can I join mid-year or leave membership?
A: Yes. Memberships are flexible. You may join any time, pause or cancel per the terms outlined in the membership agreement. We’ll work with you to ensure transitions are safe and seamless.

Q: Do you offer hormone therapy and weight loss programs?
A: Absolutely. Hormone management for men and women is part of our core offerings, supporting thyroid, adrenal, reproductive hormones, menopause, and more. Our weight loss and metabolic optimization programs are integrated into your membership, including personalized nutrition plans, behavioral support, monitoring, and follow-up.

Q: How do you approach diabetes and cardiac risk?
A: With rigorous monitoring, individualized care planning, and a holistic lens. We don’t just chase A1c or cholesterol targets—we help you transform diet, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and so much more. Our aim is not only to manage but to reverse or reduce disease markers where possible, always with your long-term health in mind.

Q: Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
A: We believe in flexibility. While we encourage continuity (since health improves with consistency), there is no onerous long-term lock-in. You can review our contract terms on the membership page and see cancellation or pause policies.

Q: I’m healthy now. Why join?
A: Prevention is where the most value lies. By having a care team that knows you—your risks, your family history, your goals—you can stay ahead of disease. Plus, when acute issues arise, you don’t need to scramble for care. You're already in the door, with your own trusted team.
